Arunachal man electrocuted

ITANAGAR: A 29-year-old lineman of Arunachal Pradesh power department was elctrocuted while installing new electric poles near Borduria village, 8 km from Khonsa , the headquarters of Tirap district.The deceased, Wangkho alias Akho Wangsa, is a native of Pongchau village in Longding district. The injured - Bothak Wangsu of Chatting village, Tephiam Lama of Borduria, and Wanghun Lowakho of Paniduria village - were taken to the Assam Medical College and Hospital, Dibrugarh for further treatment. He came in contact with the live wires while installing new poles and died on the spot on Tuesday, an official report said here on Wednesday.Three other workers of the department's Khonsa division sustained severe injuries in the incident.
