CM launches 'Arunachal Rising Campaign'

ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu recently launched the Arunachal Rising Campaign here.The campaign was launched on June 8 with the objective to reach out to the people throughout the state targeting remote areas and make them aware of the government initiatives, policies and programmes.Information and Public Relations Minister, Bamang Felix said the campaign will try to reach the remotest part of the state. com prepared by the department of Finance, Planning and Investment was also launched for satellite based monitoring and geo-tagging of developmental projects in the state. "The campaign, which is a part of the budget announcement, is the need of the hour as it will facilitate development process to reach the remotest part of the state and provide the much needed impetus and fillip to the development activities," Felix said.He exuded hope that through the campaign, the channel of communication between government and public would be established for the benefit of the people.Special Secretary IPR Himanshu Gupta, while giving a brief on the Arunachal Rising campaign informed that the campaign aims at enhancing the dissemination of information on government schemes and welfare measures at grass root through various media tools print, social media, audio- visual mode and other innovative techniques to highlight positive works of the government, feedback services covering all sections of people.A web portal and mobile apps www.arunachalmonitoring.
