Arunachal Pradesh pays tribute to Mahatma Gandhi

Khandu congratulated the IMC for procuring new vehicles and told the corporation to carry out the work of garbage collection diligently. ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu on Tuesday paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on his 149th birth anniversary here and also took part in a cleanliness drive organised to mark the event.The CM flagged off 11 trucks of the Itanagar Municipal Corporation (IMC) that would add to the garbage collection fleet. He said the motto of keeping Itanagar clean and green should be followed diligently.The event was organized by the capital district administration, along with IMC and Urban Development & Housing department, an official release said.
