Arunachal governor arranges chopper for pregnant woman

The governor also arranged for an ambulance with a woman gynaecologist to be present at the Raj Bhavan helipad to take the patient to hospital quickly. At Heema Hospital here, the patient underwent a successful emergency caesarean delivery.The governor conveyed his best wishes to the mother and newborn, the sources added. However, his helicopter, due to lack of fuel, could not fly directly to Itanagar and had to land at Tezpur for refuelling. After refuelling, the pilot noticed a technical snag in the chopper and the flight had to be aborted.Concerned over the condition of the patient, the governor made a requisition bid to the Air Officer Commanding of the Tezpur Air Force Station for another helicopter.
