Two ministers, six MLAs quit BJP in Arunachal Pradesh

Assembly polls are due in Arunachal Pradesh on April 11. Sitting MLA from Bordumsa Diyun, Nikh Kamin, who was with the PPA, also joined NPP.One former minister Tsering Gyurme and 18 BJP ticket aspirants also joined NPP. ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh home minister Kumar Waii, tourism minister Jarkar Gamlin, along with seven sitting MLAs joined the National Peoples’ Party (NPP) on Tuesday.The six BJP MLAs, who switched over to NPP after being denied tickets, are Tapuk Taku (Seppa East), Kardo Nyigyor (Likabali), Pani Taram (Koloriang), Paknga Bage (Dumporijo), Wangling Lowangdong (Borduria-Bogapani) and Thangwang Wangham (Longding-Pumao).
