Our CorrespondentItanagar: National People's Party (NPP) president Conrad K Sangma has urged the elected MLAs of the party in Arunachal Pradesh to be a driving force in gearing up the party organization in the state besides developmental activities. Conrad K Sangma, who is also the Chief Minister of Meghalaya, highlighted about the common cause of North East India on ethnic and developmental issues which is the key agenda of the party in the greater interest of North East. Sangma has also announced for trips of NPP MLAs to London on study tour shortly. In the meeting, post election matters was also discussed in details including party organizational matter that need to be further strengthen in grass root level in Arunachal Pradesh, the release added. During a meeting with a delegation from Arunachal Pradesh led by state unit president Gicho Kabak and four MLAs – Tapuk Taku, Mutchu Mithi, Tarin Dakpe and Gokar Basar besides partys leaders in Guwahati on Monday, Sangma urged the party legislators to work enthusiastically, a party release informed here on Tuesday. Conrad K Sangma, who is also the Chief Minister of Meghalaya, highlighted about the common cause of North East India on ethnic and developmental issues which is the key agenda of the party in the greater interest of North East. Sangma has also announced for trips of NPP MLAs to London on study tour shortly. In the meeting, post election matters was also discussed in details including party organizational matter that need to be further strengthen in grass root level in Arunachal Pradesh, the release added.
