District Level Sports under CMSSY begins in Govt HS School Aalo

A CorrespondentItanagar: District level sports competition under Chief Minister's Samast Shiksha Yojna (CMSSY) got off to a flying start at Govt HS School Aalo, in West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh on Friday with the formal inauguration by deputy commissioner Swetika Sachan. Altogether four blocks comprising Aalo East, Aalo West, Kamba Darak, Yomcha Liromoba from West Siang and Monigong and Mechuka from Shi-Yomi districts are taking part in the three-day event. District deputy director of school education (DDSE) Eto Ete in his deliberation spelt out the objective behind organizing such event and exhorted the players to give their best to expose the hidden talents among them through such competitions. The three-day event under CMSSY opened up with football, volleyball and various field and track events for upper primary schools of different blocks. A Correspondent Itanagar: District level sports competition under Chief Ministers Samast Shiksha Yojna (CMSSY) got off to a flying start at Govt HS School Aalo, in West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh on Friday with the formal inauguration by deputy commissioner Swetika Sachan. Altogether four blocks comprising Aalo East, Aalo West, Kamba Darak, Yomcha Liromoba from West Siang and Monigong and Mechuka from Shi-Yomi districts are taking part in the three-day event. Attending the inaugural ceremony, Sachan termed sports as an integral part of life and added that such event would be able to spot sports talent of the district, an official communiqué informed. District deputy director of school education (DDSE) Eto Ete in his deliberation spelt out the objective behind organizing such event and exhorted the players to give their best to expose the hidden talents among them through such competitions. The three-day event under CMSSY opened up with football, volleyball and various field and track events for upper primary schools of different blocks. The principals, headmasters, block education officers (BEOs) and teachers from different blocks also witnessed the competition, the communiqué added.
