Jaipur: Two people committed suicide at Pratap Nagar and Mohana localities in the city on Thursday. One person jumped before a moving train, while another ended his life by hanging from a ceiling fan.According to police, a 28-year-old unidentified man jumped before a goods train in Pratap Nagar locality in the morning. The railway route connects Jaipur and Sawai Madhopur.“The gangman working on the tracks spotted it and the locomotive pilot also stopped the train and intimated the control room. Thereafter, our team reached and took the body in possession and sent it to the mortuary of the SMS Hospital,” said a senior police officer.“It is not a run over but a clear case of suicide as both the driver and gangman saw the man jumping before the goods train. The reasons behind the suicide were not yet known and would be clear only after the identification of the youth,” said an officer.In another case of suicide, a 22-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling fan at his Mansarovar situated residence. “The youth was identified as Suraj. Late on Wednesday evening, the youth slept in his room and in the morning on Thursday when he did not open the door the family expected the worst and informed us,” said an officer with Mansarovar police station.Police have not yet found any suicide note from his house especially the room in which the youth found hanging. “The relatives are in shock. We will enquire about the suicide in some days,” said an officer.
