Jaipur: A 27-year-old man was brutally murdered at Tapta Chauraha area in Amber locality on the outskirts of the city. He was stabbed repeatedly which led to his death. The deceased was an addict of cough syrup and this addiction was used by the assailant to kill him. Solving the murder mystery, the police have arrested the main accused on the charges of murder and have detained a minor for the conspiracy.During early morning on Friday, the Jaipur police was informed about lying of a mutilated body. A team of senior police officers and the officers of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) rushed to the spot to take a stock of the situation.“It was a brutal murder as the assailant must have stabbed the victim at least 20 times as body had stabbing everywhere. It appeared that the accused was into some of animosity against the deceased,” said a senior police officer on Friday.However, police solving the murder mystery have arrested a person identified as Rajesh (23) and have also detained a minor.Elaborating the case police said that the deceased identified as Mukesh Saini told his wife that he was going out for some work at 10 pm on Thursday. “After analysing his call detail records, one person identified as Rajesh (23) was detained for questioning. It was found that the deceased was into a heavy addiction of cough syrup. Thus, the accused called him and asked if he wish to have one cough syrup he can come and meet him,” said Satendra Singh, deputy commissioner of police (North) said.After the victim reached at the spot he was stabbed repeated with a knife. “Our team rushed to the spot during early hours and found that the deceased had multiple injuries. His body was lying in a pool of blood in a pit,” Singh added.The primary investigation suggested that the accused who was having illicit relationship with the wife of the deceased and thus eliminated him. A minor who is part of the conspiracy is also been detained.‘Wife Had Illicit Relation With The Accused’
