Kota: A 16-year-old class X boy, native of Guna district in Madhya Pradesh was on Sunday morning found dead in suspicious condition in his school hostel room in Kelwada town of Baran district. The deceased boy was studying in class X in a private school in Kelwada town and was staying in the school hostel. When the other three boys, who were sharing a room with him, awakened him on Sunday morning he did not speak and remained motionless following which they informed the matter to hostel caretaker. “The boy was in sound health on Saturday night and before going to bed after dinner he had spoken to his family members on phone,” he added. Seizure disorder is most likely to be the cause of death, the doctors believed but the actual reason could be ascertained only after the FSL report.

Police handed over the body to family members after post-mortem by medical board and initiated investigation of the matter under section 174 of CrPC.“Sixteen-year-old boy, identified as Yashwant Kirad, a resident of Khurrakheda in Guna district of Madhya Pradesh was found dead Sunday morning in his school hostel room where he was asleep with three other boys,” SHO Kelwada police station Vijendra Singh said. The deceased boy was studying in class X in a private school in Kelwada town and was staying in the school hostel. “The boy was in sound health on Saturday night and before going to bed after dinner he had spoken to his family members on phone,” he added. When the other three boys, who were sharing a room with him, awakened him on Sunday morning he did not speak and remained motionless following which they informed the matter to hostel caretaker. The boy was immediately rushed to government hospital in Kelwada where the doctors declared him brought dead.“Since the minor’s death initially appeared suspicious, the post-mortem was carried out by medical board in government hospital Kelwada and samples for FSL test were collected,” the SHO further said. “Silent heat attack is likely to be the reason behind the death as no marks on the body were visible nor the boy had turned pale or bluish, however the exact cause of death could be ascertained only after the post-mortem report,” he added.“Primary examination of the body suggested seizure disorder is likely to be the reason behind death, however exact reason could be ascertained only after the FSL report is received,” said Dr. Jai Singh Metha, one of the members of medical board that carried out the post-mortem.
