Rajasthan HC refuses to stay termination order of 21 court employees

JAIPUR: The Rajasthan High Court has refused to stay its order on May 1 to terminate the services of 21 employees who got employment in the high court without following the due process of selection.The division bench of Justice MN Bhandari and DC Somnai said that since the petitioners have filed an SLP in the Supreme Court, the apex court would now take a decision.The high court in May 25 had given six weeks' time to the petitioners after they filed an application in the high court seeking time to file appeal in the Supreme Court claiming the apex court is on a vacation.Now that the six weeks' time has expired, and they approached the court again seeking a stay on its order till the Supreme Court takes a decision.
