Guj MLA Mevani tours Hadauti to form team

Kota: Jignesh Mevani, MLA from Vadgam assembly constituency of Gujarat, on Wednesday concluded his two-day tour to Hadauti region of Rajasthan with a note of warning to the Centre and Vasundhara Raje government.With an aim to form team Rajasthan, Mevani held meetings with activists of Ambedkar Kalyan Samiti, scheduled caste and scheduled tribe forums in Bundi city, Borekheda, Siswali, Etawa, Anta and Baran areas of Hadouti region and delivered message of awareness among backward communities and to protect Indian constitution.Terming Prime Minister Narendra Modi a ‘jumlebaaz’ for not fulfilling the promises he made to win election, Mevani said, “PM Modi and the government are not afraid of MLA Jignesh Mevani but the agitator Jignesh Mevani.” He further added, “PM Modi is under excessive pressure and tension with regard to Rajasthan as he apparently foresees his party’s defeat in the state. “It has been proved over the years that every political party in the country needs us and door to every political party is open for us,” he claimed adding, “We need to contest election and to win it to set an example as MLA and MP.”The Gujarat MLA claimed that he has been receiving tremendous support from the people in Rajasthan, however, intelligence agencies and police are leaving no stone unturned to stop him.Jignesh reportedly was unwell during his two-day tour to Hadouti and he had to call off his meetings at several other places in the region.“Jignesh Mevani was not allotted a room in Bundi circuit house despite the fact that it was booked a week earlier but at the last moment on Tuesday before his arrival in Bundi, he was denied the room in circuit house,” alleged Babul Lal Verma, state representative of team Rajasthan and Bundi district chairman of Ambedkar Kalyan Samiti.
