Sodomy case: Cops await med report of 4 students

AJMER: Police on Friday took four accused students for medical test who are booked for the alleged sexual abuse and sodomy case of Ajmer city school. Interestingly, police brought four accused students for medical test whereas there are six names in the FIR. Police after 10 odd days of registering the FIR took the accused for medical test including dope test which experts state should have been done earlier after the FIR was lodged. Police also requested to conduct dope test of these students as they were accused for allegedly taking drugs in school premises.Police source said that they are waiting for the medical report and after that they would take further action as per the law. Police already got the copy of the victim student’s statement under section 164 of CrPC.Meanwhile parents of the victim alleged that the school management has sent the victim to his house whereas all accused are studying in the school and no action from school side has been taken.On the complaint of the parents of the victim, school registered a case at Alwar gate police station on July 31 and police registered the case under POCSO and other sections of IPC against six senior students.The victim student alleged that when he joined the boarding school on July 7, the senior students on July 10 came to his room and took him to the bathroom where they sexually abused him and later drugged him.The FIR stated other dates of similar incidents and later when the victim made complaint of these crimes to teachers and school management, he got no relief from anyone and he skipped from the school on July 27.Parents of the victim who came with him to register his statement in the court alleged that school management was pressurizing and trying to dilute this matter and saving the accused.
