The downsizing of Home Guards from 400 to 100 has also been a major problem,” said a senior police officer of the Jaipur police commissionerate on condition of anonymity.As Jaipur police is burdened with unsolved crime cases the murder of 75-year-old woman who was mother-in-law of senior police officer of SOG has given them extra embarrassment, senior police officers pleaded not to come on record regarding patrolling.Some of the circle inspectors claimed that from officials from level of constable to head constable at police stations in Pratap Nagar, Mansarovar, Mahesh Nagar and Jagatpura are working for more than 14 hours a day tirelessly. “In police job one cannot say no. Our men were scanning various areas till 3 am in the morning and were supposed to reach police station at 11 am the next day.
