JAIPUR: The robbers involved in the brutal murder case of 75-year-old woman had taken alcohol and smoked before barging into the house of mother-in-law of additional SP, SGO. Police have managed to identify all three of them and late on Sunday evening they managed to arrest one of the fleeing robbers while two were on the radar of the police.On Sunday police found CCTV footage in which the robbers were seen boozing and smoking at an abandoned house adjoining New Sanganer Road. Confirming the arrest of one of the robbers and recovery of some jewellery, a senior officer who is part of investigation team, said, “One of the accused has been arrested and through his interrogation we have got strong leads on whereabouts of the other two.”CCTV footage also proved handy for police in getting the map of route taken by the robbers. A senior police officer involved in the investigation said, “We have CCTV footage of the abandoned house where the robbers were hiding. They had boozed there and their faces are clear in the footage. We also got to know the exact point till they travelled on bicycle,” the officer told TOI.At least six teams were sent to various places in Madhya Pradesh, Delhi and Haryana. “We have got some strong leads. Various teams are working in coordination and we are close to solving the case,” said Vikas Pathak, deputy commissioner of police (South). He neither confirmed the arrest nor denied it.Jaipur (South) is already getting technical support from ATS and SOG.
