Jaipur: The Pardi gang involved in the robbery and murder of 75-year-old woman in Mansarovar was involved in five cases of theft and robbery in the past 15 days. In this particular case one Badam Singh first invited the gang members to his house. Thereafter, they reached at bus stand at 6.30 am on Saturday and took a bus to Jhunjhunu. People who are seen practising herbal medicines for various ailments in a tent near the highways are usually their facilitators. Jaipur: The Pardi gang involved in the robbery and murder of 75-year-old woman in Mansarovar was involved in five cases of theft and robbery in the past 15 days. Such is the fearless approach of the gang members that even after brutal murder during intervening nights of Friday and Saturday, the gang went to Jhunjhunu and again struck at a house there during intervening nights of Saturday and Sunday by by removing grills of the window.Police on Monday have arrested five members of the gang including three who facilitated the three robbers in the Mansarovar incident.“After murder and robbery they reached at a dera (tent shelter) situated near B2B bypass by 4.30 am on Saturday morning. Thereafter, they reached at bus stand at 6.30 am on Saturday and took a bus to Jhunjhunu. They spent some time in Jhunjhunu and executed a theft in a house there during intervening nights of Saturday and Sunday,” said Sanjay Agarwal, commissioner of police in a news conference.The police added that the gang hails from Madhya Pradesh and has members of the tribe who are into ruthless robberies, dacoity and theft.“It was also found that they have their facilitators in every city and state. People who are seen practising herbal medicines for various ailments in a tent near the highways are usually their facilitators. In this particular case one Badam Singh first invited the gang members to his house. From there they reached at the Mansarover area at 12.17 am,” Agarwal added.Police said that the gang is a habitual offender and was also involved in two thefts in Shyam Nagar and Mohana police station areas prior to the Mansarovar incident.“They did not realize that the woman they killed was a mother-in-law of a senior police officer.
