Jaipur children present a gala evening for cine star Salman Khan

Renowned Bollywood actor, Salman Khan attended a cultural programme at Amara Auditoriu hosted by students of Umang School. The evening turned out to be a memorable one witnessed some exemplary performances by the differently-abled children. The awareness being created by the institute and the work being done by the center for the children is commendable. I have been associated with Umang since they had 70 children and they now have 300. Salman and his family have been always associated with and supported since its inception.

Renowned Bollywood actor, Salman Khan attended a cultural programme at Amara Auditoriu hosted by students of Umang School. The evening turned out to be a memorable one witnessed some exemplary performances by the differently-abled children. They presented a medley of his hit numbers from ‘Just chill-chill’ to ‘Baby ko base pasand hai’, ‘Selfie le le re’ and title song of the movie Dabangg.Actors Salman and Ayush Sharma too joined the children on stageTouched by their musical performances, Salman, who is fondly called as Bhai by the students too joined them on stage with actor Ayush Sharma. These children have been taught by well-known choreographer, Shiamak Davar. A few children also impersonated Salman’s popular film characters and recited dialogues from movies like – Wanted, Bodyguard, Sultaan and Dabangg.Salman giving some dance instructions to the children on stageAfter the performance, Salman said, “I am so happy to witness these performances by the children. I have been associated with Umang since they had 70 children and they now have 300. The awareness being created by the institute and the work being done by the center for the children is commendable. On the occasion, Bina Kak , former Rajasthan Tourism Minister and trustee of the ngo said, “Umang was a journey we began 12 years ago with a few of children and a small house. Salman and his family have been always associated with and supported since its inception.
