Double standards by Modi govt on Ram temple Togadia

JAIPUR: Antarashtriya Hindu Parishad (AHP) president Praveen Togadia accused the Modi government of adopting a policy of double standards on Ram Temple. Then how come the stand has changed now, questioned Togadia.BJP, which had promised Ram Temple and Ram Rajya, has turned out to be a big let-down. Nobody then said the party would seek the view of the court. After forming government at the Centre, their agenda has changed, he alleged.Under BJP rule, the prices of petroleum products had been hiked twelve times.“The party had promised education and employment to two crore youths, which was not fulfilled. Now, it had forgotten Ram also,” he lamented.However, BJP can’t take Hindus for granted and they would look for alternatives, he said.Togadia also took to task RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat for his comment, “there is no Hindutva without Muslims and Muslims are Hindus” theory.This, he said, is not just a deviation from the RSS ideology but a complete U-turn.

He said when it comes to the SC/ST Act, Modi government issues ordinance to bypass Supreme Court ruling while in the case of Ram Mandir, PM wants the court to decide.Addressing the media in city on Saturday, Togadia said his organization would launch a march to Ayodhya from Lucknow on October 21 demanding construction of the temple.Togadia, who launched AHP after his ouster from the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), has turned a staunch critic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi He said in the last 32 years, RSS, BJP and VHP have been of the view that if BJP comes to power on its own it would make law to construct Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
