JAIPUR: Four persons were killed in separate accidents on Friday, including a 15-year-old school boy who was crushed by a speeding truck.The first accident occurred at Kalwar Road on Friday morning when a speeding truck hit a student waiting for his school bus at a stop. “Bhavya Raj was waiting for his school bus to arrive when a truck mowed him down, due to which he was killed on the spot,” said Madho Raj, assistant sub inspector ( ASI ).A student of class X, Bhavya was a resident of Kardhani area. “He died on the spot, whereas the driver fled from the scene. The truck driver had injured two others before killing Bhavya,” Singh said. His body was handed over to his parents after postmortem.In another accident at Ghat Ki Ghuni tunnel, a speeding car rammed into an auto rickshaw on Friday morning, killing one person and injuring five others.“The car was speeding and hit an auto, due to which it overturned. One person was killed in the accident but he could not be identified. Four others are currently undergoing treatment at a hospital,” an official told TOI. Transport Nagar police arrived at the accident site and registered a case against the car driver.In another horrifying accident near CBI Phatak in Jagatpura, a couple was killed when a speeding car hit a scooter.The victims were identified as Rafique and his wife Zareena begum. “The duo was travelling on a scooter. They had crossed from Phatak road when a speeding car rammed into their scooter,” Singh said, adding that the duo was rushed to hospital, where they were declared brought dead.
