Rebels of Cong BJP stage protest

Vikram Singh Shekhawat, who is considered a close aide of AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh and former Jaipur MP Mahesh Joshi, also hit the road against his own party.Speculations are rife that erstwhile Kota royal Ijay Raj Singh could resign from the Congress after being denied ticket.

Some descended at party headquarters in Jaipur while others raised slogans at local offices.Soon after the second list of Congress was rolled out on Saturday, the supporters of the Congress leader Brijkishore Sharma protested with black flags outside the party head office in Jaipur and demanded that his name be included in the list.Sharma, who was minister in Congress government’s previous tenure, was demanding ticket from Hawa Mahal constituency of Jaipur.
