Doctors get ready to compete in upcoming elections

JAIPUR: Spent years with stethoscope and ailing patients, state’s doctors are ready to compete in poll battle in upcoming assembly elections . Dr RC Yadav, who contested polls as independent candidate from Behror in 2013, is a Congress candidate in 2018. “Dr Choudhary was 84-batch MBBS student in Sawai Man Singh medical college. Former SMS hospital superintendent Dr Karan Singh Yadav, will contest assembly election from Kishangarh Bas constituency as Congress candidate. Dr Rampratap, who completed his MBBS in 1972 from JLN Medical college from Ajmer, will be BJP’s candidate from Hanumangarh.

JAIPUR: Spent years with stethoscope and ailing patients, state’s doctors are ready to compete in poll battle in upcoming assembly elections . While, at least seven doctors bagged tickets from Congress and the BJP , there are others who were dejected as they failed to get tickets from both parties.Dr Suresh Choudhary, an orthopaedician, who is running his own hospital in Bhadra, will contest polls as Congress candidate. “Dr Choudhary was 84-batch MBBS student in Sawai Man Singh medical college. But, he contested polls for the first time in 1993 as Congress candidate. He fought in 2003 election as an independent candidate. In 2013, I filed my nomination as an independent candidate but I later withdrew. In 2018 elections, Dr Choudhary will contest polls on Congress ticket,” said Sunita Choudhary, wife of Dr Choudhary, adding that he is running his orthopaedic hospital in Bhadra.Dr Vishwanath is an MBBS, who passed his graduation in 1995 from SP Medical College of Bikaner. Fifty-two-year-old Dr Vishwanath is a BJP candidate from Khajuwala. Dr Rampratap, who completed his MBBS in 1972 from JLN Medical college from Ajmer, will be BJP’s candidate from Hanumangarh. He is the water resource minister in Raje-government.Besides them, 72-year-old Jitendra Singh, who will contest as Congress candidate from Khetri, had completed his MBBS from SMS medical college, Jaipur. Former SMS hospital superintendent Dr Karan Singh Yadav, will contest assembly election from Kishangarh Bas constituency as Congress candidate. Dr RC Yadav, who contested polls as independent candidate from Behror in 2013, is a Congress candidate in 2018. Dr Yadav held post of secretary of Rajasthan Medical College Teachers Association.Dr SN Dholpuria, who is holding administrative post at health directorate, sought ticket from Pilani from Congress.
