Also, one can clearly find out that many messages containing fake news have wrong spellings and it can be easily identified," an expert while speaking here said. So one must check elsewhere on the internet or with leading media websites about the veracity of a forwarded message. The workshop was organised jointly by Digital Empowerment Foundation (DEF) and WhatsApp at Rajasthan Police Academy which was also attended by several police officials.

JAIPUR: Hoax and fake forwards on WhatsApp can be easily discerned if users are careful, said experts here at a workshop on spotting fake news Monday.The experts from online messaging application WhatsApp shared tips and tricks to spot malicious information by paying attention to small details like spellings and URL links.
