Gehlot: Congress CM faces have increased

JAIPUR: With Congress having declared its candidates and the party men beginning campaigning for the assembly polls, AICC general secretary Ashok Gehlot on Tuesday said the party's chief minister probable have increased in the state.On being asked by reporters in Jodhpur to disclose the party's CM face, Gehlot smiled and said, "CM faces have now increased. "I have seen that sometimes even the campaign committee chairpersons get the opportunity to be the CM," Gehlot said.The former chief minister, who did not mention own name among the CM probable, added that the party men should leave the matter to Congress high-command. "When we say that the party high command's decision will be acceptable to us, there should be no tension in the mind after that. When the party will decide the matter, we will congratulate each other.

After a pause, he added the name of Ajmer MP Raghu Sharma, who is party's campaign committee chairman and candidate from the Kekri assembly seat. "I have seen that sometimes even the campaign committee chairpersons get the opportunity to be the CM," Gehlot said.The former chief minister, who did not mention own name among the CM probable, added that the party men should leave the matter to Congress high-command. "When we say that the party high command's decision will be acceptable to us, there should be no tension in the mind after that. Party interest is supreme to us. When the party will decide the matter, we will congratulate each other. I have no objection," Gehlot said.
