JAIPUR: The Congress on Tuesday alleged that it is good time for the criminals and bad days for the police and public at large in Uttar Pradesh under chief minister Yogi Adityanath Congress national communication in-charge Randeep Surjewala was addressing the media on the violence at Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh following the recovery of animal carcasses on Monday.In the incident, two people, including a police inspector, were killed.He charged that mobocracy and goondaraj is ruling roost under Yogi Adityanath rule in UP alleging that the death of inspector Subodh Singh is part of a ‘conspiracy’ by BJP. Surjewala said that under Yogi, UP has become lawless state. Anarchy and lawlessness are the hallmark of Yogi rule in UP. Despite the violence, Yogi is busy in election campaign in Telangana.He said, the bullet injury of the police inspector raises many suspicions. It could be part of a conspiracy, alleged Surjewala.He asked, “If police, who were supposed to enforce law and order being targeted by goons, you can easily assume the situation in that state.” Despite such a ghastly incident, the chief minister has not returned to his home state but is campaigning in Telangana. He alleged that the names of those involved in the incident are associated with the saffron party.“The culprits belong to Bajrang Dal and BJP. Does it not say that they are doing it at the behest of the ruling dispensation,” he asked? He said, under Yogi, the police are most unsafe in Uttar Pradesh then what could be the condition of the common man, he wondered.
