Officers give final touches to booths

Deployed as BLO at a polling booth in Goner village, he is asked with conducting polling at the very school he studied till primary level.Like Mishra, BLOs across the city were on Thursday making last minute preparations, including arranging for tents, water tanks, cleaning floors for the polling party to arrive and take charge.The polling booths of the city wore a deserted look a day before elections. The BLO sat outside the polling building to show arriving parties their room and facilities available.“There are some school buildings which are rarely cleaned.
