Jaipur: Giving a clean chit to BJP’s Tonk candidate and minister Yoonus Khan, the district election department said “no truth” was found in the complaint against the minister by the Congress party and there was “no violation of Model Code of Conduct.”“We have received the report from the returning officer C L Sharma. Therefore, no action was taken in the matter,” said Tonk ADM Kailash Sharma.The Congress party had lodged a complaint against BJP’s Tonk candidate and minister Yoonus Khan for holding a press conference on Thursday, a day after the election campaign ended, in an alleged violation of model code of conduct.The state Congress in its complaint said that despite the poll campaign ending at 5pm on Wednesday, Khan held a press conference on Thursday.
