Botched up operations No action against officials yet

According to the health department officials, they have initiated process for identifying gaps in maternal and child health delivery system for improving it. “Through the advisory, we have directed all the hospitals to prepare duty chart of doctors and display it at labour rooms. Also, directions have been issued to send photographs of all labour rooms to health directorate. Also, directions have been issued to send details of healthcare workers posted at labour rooms,” said Dr Thakan.The health department has directed its officials in all the districts to conduct physical verification of all labour rooms. Action was taken against the two nurses.In Jaisalmer, an incident happened in January fist week, when two male nurses, forcefully tried to pull the baby out breaking it into two parts in a botched up delivery.
