We will sing folk songs in the night,” he added.Since the start of agitation Bainsala has been away from the tracks during evening. According to the sources, this has also been done to ensure agitators may not move away as the number of agitators during night time becomes less than 200 in the night. “I will sleep on the tracks and enjoy the lot of agitators who are a jovial lot. But, we have decided that Bainsala ji will be on tracks 24X7. Thus he was settling down at somebody’s house nearby during night.

Maksudanpura (Sawai Madhopur): Sensing that protesting Gujjars on the railway tracks are whispering and not liking the fact that Kirori Singh Bainsla and his core team of Gujjar Aarakshan Sangarh Samiti leaving the agitation spot every night, the Gujjar leader has decided to stay back on the tracks in the night from Monday onwards.Till now, protesting Gujjars were a little shaken to witness Bainsla was having home cooked food in tiffin, having a power nap every afternoon on a wooden bed having pillows and blankets and they are made to sit and sleep on the tracks on the shivering afternoon. On Saturday, while various speakers were addressing the protesters, it was announced that Bainsla is going to stay back in the night on the tracks. “He is 82-year-old. Thus he was settling down at somebody’s house nearby during night. But, we have decided that Bainsala ji will be on tracks 24X7. We are here to get reservation and will get it on the tracks itself,” said Shailendra Singh who is general secretary of Gujjar Aarakshan Sangarh saimiti.TOI spoke to some protestors who have brought blankets and mattress from their houses since the inception of the sit in dharna on tracks and they were little upset. “We are sitting here and having whatever is offered to us. I know he is old and is earning our respect. But, he needs to be here with us. He too is a protester like us,” said a common Gujjar protestor on the condition of anonymity.Even, those who were addressing the protesters tried to justify Bainsla’s moving away from tracks during nights. “He is old and has already done much for the community. We want him to be re-charged thus he takes rest in the night properly,” said Singh.Bainsla himself added that he would love to be among the community members. “I will sleep on the tracks and enjoy the lot of agitators who are a jovial lot. We will sing folk songs in the night,” he added.Since the start of agitation Bainsala has been away from the tracks during evening.
