Swine flu Health dept transfers 107 officials

Jaipur: Amid the mounting cases of swine flu , health department has transferred 107 health department officials.Among the officials transferred is chief medical health officer (Jodhpur) Dr S K Bist. Rajasthan is still leading among all states in the country in the list of highest number of swine flu cases. According to health department reports, 28 persons have died of swine flu in Jodhpur, while 393 persons were diagnosed with the disease in 2019 so far. Dr Ravi Sharma, who was additional director of hospital administration, is the new additional director of rural health. According to the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), up till February 3, Rajasthan had reported 2,363 swine flu cases with 85 deaths.In the state, the health department has found 3,110 persons infected with swine flu virus till February 12, this year.

According to health department reports, 28 persons have died of swine flu in Jodhpur, while 393 persons were diagnosed with the disease in 2019 so far. He has been transferred to community health centre Bhopalgarh some 95 kilometers from Jodhpur.However, over the past few days Jodhpur has seen a fall in the number of swine flu cases reporting on daily basis. On Tuesday, five persons were diagnosed with the disease. Another official who has been transferred is Dr Ravi Prakash Mathur who was handling charge of rural health as additional director that covers swine flu, Zika and other vector-borne diseases. Dr Ravi Sharma, who was additional director of hospital administration, is the new additional director of rural health. Dr Mathur has replaced Dr Sharma as additional director hospital administration.On Tuesday, Udaipur reported its ninth death due to swine flu taking total toll to 113 in the state this year so far. Rajasthan is still leading among all states in the country in the list of highest number of swine flu cases. According to the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), up till February 3, Rajasthan had reported 2,363 swine flu cases with 85 deaths.In the state, the health department has found 3,110 persons infected with swine flu virus till February 12, this year.
