Jaipur: Posters featuring Robert Vadra, along with his wife Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Congress president Rahul Gandhi, were put up outside the Enforcement Directorate office here, ahead of Vadra's questioning in a money laundering case.The poster with photos and with slogans “Kattar soch nahi, yuva josh (not extremist ideology, but youngster’s enthusiasm)” were put near the ED’s regional office, and at other important parts of the city.The Congress party’s aggressive posters to counter the prime minister Narendra Modi ignited a poster war in the city, as the BJP’s city unit also began placing posters right next to the their rival’s billboards and posters.“Congress hatao desh bacho (Remove Congress, save the nation)” of the BJP was found at many locations. By the afternoon, the Jaipur Municipality Corporation (JMC) removed all the posters.The Congress party workers in large numbers gathered outside the ED’s regional office in the city and raised slogans against the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.The Congress workers claimed that the ruling BJP government at the Center was using central agencies like CBI and ED to halt the rising popularity of the Congress party across India.The Jaipur police had to make special arrangements outside the ED office to ensure that situation doesn’t spiral out of control. Meanwhile, the ED office itself wore a new look.A fresh board of ED was placed outside its main premises and the SPG and local police locked up the entire building from all sides. Vadra is staying at a leading city hotel, “The ED had told us that Vadra might be asked to appear before us again on Wednesday, hence, we had made security arrangements for two days,” an official told TOI.
