A befitting reply for the martyrdom of jawans will be given by the Army,” said Shah in reference to the February 14 Pulwama attack while addressing the party workers at Suraj Maidan in Jaipur. Every day a new name is emerging as the leader of this much-talked about alliance. It has given a fitting reply in the past and will do so now. The entire country is standing rock solid with the families of martyrs today. The Modi-led BJP government will not let their sacrifices go in vain.

JAIPUR: No leader in the world had the political will like Prime Minister Narendra Modi to tackle terrorism, said BJP state president Amit Shah here on Monday.“All political leaders are against terrorism but no other leader in the world has the political will like PM Modi to deal with it,” said Shah, who was addressing the first of a series of Shakti Kendra Sammelans in the state, ahead of the coming Lok Sabha polls.“BJP is the only political party in the country to have a zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism. It has given a fitting reply in the past and will do so now. The entire country is standing rock solid with the families of martyrs today. The Modi-led BJP government will not let their sacrifices go in vain. A befitting reply for the martyrdom of jawans will be given by the Army,” said Shah in reference to the February 14 Pulwama attack while addressing the party workers at Suraj Maidan in Jaipur. He added that the BJP had worked to further strengthen and modernize the Army.Blowing the poll bugle for the BJP in the state, Shah, in his first visit to the state post the December 2018 assembly polls, also attacked Congress and opposition parties over the maha-gathbandhan and lashed out at the recently formed Congress government in the state.“I want to ask Rahul ‘Baba’, who is the leader of the grand alliance? Every day a new name is emerging as the leader of this much-talked about alliance. Why is the opposition not declaring its prime ministerial candidate? The grand alliance is moving forward only on the slogan of ‘Modi hatao’,” said Shah.Shah also said the Congress party’s desperation was evident after the budget and the party has been rendered clueless with the extradition of Christian Michel, the alleged middleman in the Agusta-Westland helicopter scam. All accused in Agusta-Westland chopper scam were in the custody of the Enforcement Directorate and the CBI, he added.Encouraging the party workers to work for LS elections and advising them not to get disheartened by the recent loss in the assembly polls, Shah reminded them that BJP is a party which had started its journey from two MPs and went on to achieve a majority in 2014.“The vote share difference was 0.5%, so while the Congress did win here, it is not that we were actually defeated. Our leaders have spent their lives in opposition. We should learn from them how they struggled for decades to see their government,” said Shah.Shah, who was to preside over the state BJP’s core committee meeting and hold a dialogue with the elected representatives, rushed to Mumbai after addressing the party workers for his meeting with Sena chief.
