With the onset of spring, Stage & Rendezvous, a performing art platform from Delhi, hosted its first lit fest in Jaipur with 25 artists and poets from different states, including 13 poets from Rajasthan. The Urban Talafuz Lit Fest 2019 was organised in Jaipur in collaboration with Princess Atelier’s studio, run by city-based photographer Shipra Rajora. Standing true to its name, the talafuz of the show was both urban and local. The event kicked off with the performances from the budding poets. Ayyub Bismil Khan, Rajat Pandey and Roshan Nagar were among the participating artists.Many first-time attendees were spellbound with the artistic flavor showcased at the poetry event. Audience of all ages thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon, which could be sensed by their high decibel clapping.Sudhir Agarwal, one of the audience members said, "The thoughts of the young artists were totally mesmerising. This was my first time at the poetry event, and found the content shared by the performers very true to life. I look forward to more such shows in Jaipur."Nitika Soni, who was also a performer at the event, highlighted a point very well, “that a good poet also likes to listen to good poetry and her experience as an audience was truly refreshing.”Poet and writer Abhinav Dwivedi was the brain behind the show. The show was well hosted by Bharat A. Tarachandanii.
