Alwar: A six-year-old mentally challenged girl was abducted from a wedding function, raped multiple times and left on the railway tracks in Alwar on Saturday night.The girl writhing in pain and bleeding profusely from her private parts was found by a track-man on Sunday morning. He informed the Mundawar police station about the incident after which the cops called an ambulance and rushed her to the hospital.The preliminary investigation indicates that she was abducted from a marriage garden. She had come to attend the wedding before she was abducted to the nearby village by the accused. “Some unidentified accused abducted her from the wedding function on Saturday night, took her to a nearby village where she was raped at a secluded spot alongside the railway track. The accused left her at the spot where she spent a night in pain,” said an official.The girl’s relatives launched a frantic search to find her when she went missing from the marriage garden but in vain. “The girl is mentally challenged and is also speech impaired. Thus, she was not able to explain her ordeal when she was rescued. She is deeply affected by the incident,” added another official. “A track-man had heard the girl crying and found she was unable to get up on her own. He alerted the station master and the police station about the incident,” the official added.“The girl’s father had died some years ago, she lived with her grandfather. She is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Alwar,” an official said, adding that she is still terrified by the incident.Alwar SP Rajeev Pachar said that some suspects have been rounded up and they are being quizzed to find out the accused. The Alwar police called the FSL team which collected samples from the spot. The dog squad was also called at the spot to comb the nearby railway areas for some clues.
