Rajasthan High Court notice to govt over failure to relocate 43 villages from RNP

Respondents have been asked to reply in four weeks-time.Residents of Marmada village of Karauli had approached the high court through a petition seeking their shifting from the village and Rs 10 lakh compensation each to the 315 families of the village.“We have prayed before the court that in 2007 the state government had initiated a policy on shifting of the 44 villages that comes closer to the RNP. Rs 10 lakh were proposed to be given to each family which was to come as a grant from the central government.
