Petitioner also informed the court that National Tiger Conservation Authority has also issued guidelines for the voluntary relocation of the notified core/critical tiger habitats or tiger reserves. Rs 10 lakh were proposed to be given to each family which was to come as a grant from the central government. Various news reports were also quoted through which the petitioner drew attention to the fact that people are reluctant to get their daughters married in these villages due to lack of resources and infrastructural facilities. We have also maintained that since the village is closer to the RNP it also lacks basic infrastructural facilities including electricity, ample drinking water and good roads,” said Shashi Bhushan Gupta, counsel for the petitioner.The petitioner also informed the court that since 2007 only one village had been shifted so far. JAIPUR: A single bench of Rajasthan High Court issued notices to the government of Rajasthan and the forest department on Friday for their failure to relocate 43 villages that comes under the periphery of Ranthambore National Park RNP ) since 2007 when state government had made a policy on shifting.The bench comprising Justice BS Sardana issued notices to the chief secretary, principal secretary, department of forest, additional principal chief conservator of forest-cum-chief wildlife warden, chief conservator of forest (wildlife), district collector-cum-chairman, district rehabilitation committee, Karauli and deputy conservator of forest.
