Jodhpur: Cabinet minister and MP from Jodhpur, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat accused chief minister Ashok Gehlot of focusing on preparing ground for his son in 100 days of government and not caring for the state. The party has lost the moral right to remain in power as it has dishonoured interests of the people,” said Shekhawat. In a scathing attack on Congress, Shekhawat accused Congress of lie, deceit and craft and said that the it has lost all the right to remain in power due to playing with the sentiments of the people.“The Congress government is guilty of lie, deceit, betrayal and craft in the court of the people. He said that the Congress national president Rahul Gandhi had promised the farmers of entire loan waiver in 10 days of the formation of government and monthly allowance of Rs 3,500 to the unemployed youth of the state but all these promises proved to be false. He further alleged that deaths due to swine flu, farmers deaths due to loan burden, rising communal tension, undeclared power cuts, water crisis and financial management are the identity of the Congress.Referring to the election manifesto of Congress, Shekhawat said that it has appeared to the people in first 100 days of the governance that public manifesto of Congress was a nothing but a pile of lie.

Training his guns at the Congress just a day ahead of the scheduled landing of Vaibhav Gehlot in Jodhpur to begin his campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections, Shekhawat alleged that there was no concrete achievement for Congress in 100 days.“The Congress government failed to bring about any concrete achievement in first 100 days and chief minister Ashok Gehlot just focused on preparing the political ground for his son Vaibhav instead of doing work for the state,” Shekhawat said to the media persons.Vaibhav has been pitted against Shekhawat at Jodhpur Lok Sabha constituency as the Congress candidate and will be arriving in Jodhpur on Monday morning to begin campaigning.
