Alwar: Former state BJP president Ashok Parnami accused Congress party of encouraging harassment of women. Parnami said that in first 103 days of Congress government in the state, the cases of women’s harassment have increased significantly. He said that there is an increase of 16% in such cases. He alleged that during the past regime of Congress, there were ministers who were involved in women harassment cases. He was speaking in Alwar on Sunday, he holds the post of in-charge of BJP of Alwar.He lambasted the Congress government, accusing it of being unable to implement law and order properly. He said that as the new government took charge, the state has started witnessing power cuts. Parnami said that the farmers are getting electricity for 4-5 hours. During BJP regime, the villagers were getting electricity supply for 24 hours but now during the Congress government regime, the villagers are getting electricity supply for 15-16 hours daily. Not only villages are affected with power cuts, even Jaipur is facing disruption in power supply.Ahead of Lok Sabha polls, Parnami said that the party will make efforts to bring back workers who turned rebels during assembly elections. He said that there is no resentment among party workers.
