Jodhpur, Alwar and Pali reported more than 100 cases on Wednesday, as three districts reported 171, 164 and 138 cases respectively. Capital city Jaipur reported 95 new cases.
The state of Rajasthan reported its highest single-day jump of 866 Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, taking the state’s overall tally to 26,437.
Six more deaths were reported on Wednesday due to Covid-19, this takes the total death toll to 530. The last single day spike record of Rajasthan was on July 7 with 716 cases.
