Vasundhara Raje flies to Delhi, meet BJP President J P Nadda

The state assembly is meeting from August 14 and Gehlot may call for trust vote.

Days before assembly session commence in Rajasthan, Senior BJP leader and former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje flew to Delhi and met Party President J P Nadda. It is believed that the two them discussed the ongoing Political turf in Rajasthan between Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and his Deputy CM Sachin Pilot.  

There is no official word on what transpired in the meeting which has assumed significance as Raje has largely maintained silence and kept away from BJP meetings in Jaipur since the crisis broke out last month.

The state assembly is meeting from August 14 and Gehlot may call for trust vote.

While a section of the BJP has been keen to topple the Gehlot government with support of Congress rebels, media reports claim that Raje has not been very enthusiastic about it.
