Health Minister emphasis on the role of mask for reduction in the pace of spread of Covid-19

Dr. Sharma said that 85 percent of cases in the state are recovering after treatment but even after being cured people are seeing the side effects of post-coronavirus infection. After being infected with COVID-19, its effect is seen on heart, kidneys, liver and pancreas.
Rajasthan Health Minster Dr. Raghu Sharma expressed a sense of relief with decrease in the pace of Covid-19 infection. He said that the slogan of government `No Mask, No Entry` has become the voice of the public.
However, he was quick enough to remind the people that the decrease in pace of the spread of Corona virus should not lead to negligence from the public towards the Covid-19 protocols. If people show the same kind of cooperation, discipline and wisdom in the coming days as in the past, then the chain of infection can be broken, he said.
The state government is determined to distribute one crore masks throughout the state. The government made the general public aware of the coronavirus and the result of this is now visible in the figures of COVID-19 patients. Till a few days ago the numbers of daily cases of COVID-19 patients were 2,200 which now has come down to 1,900 cases per day.
The Health Minister said that although the number of infected patients has come down but looking at the winters, the numbers may increase in the month of November. He said that the experts believe that if people of the state wear masks for a month then the infection could be reduced. Till any medicine comes, masks are the one and only vaccine.

He said that in today`s time, coronavirus can be defeated only by being cautious. Now people have started to understand the importance of masks. The significant role of maks can be seen in the reduction of coronavirus cases.
