Inter-district movement of Private Vehicles banned from today in Rajasthan, find out other curbs

Gehlot government is in the mode of action to stop the second wave of the Covid-19 epidemic in Rajasthan.

Rajasthan government has banned the movement of private vehicles from one district to another with effect from today (26 April) 5 am. Private passenger vehicles/taxis (except buses) have been banned from going from one district to another.

Rajasthan Home Department announced stricter norms in the fresh set of guidelines released on 23 April that will effect from 5 am on April 26. In this, passengers without private permission will not be able to travel from one district to another without prior permission, except for medical emergency and urgent services.

Only 50% of passengers will be allowed to sit in buses

Passengers will not be able to travel from one district to another by private vehicles without authorized permission, except for medical emergency and urgent services. This restriction will be applicable in the entire state. Only 50 % of passengers will be able to sit in buses for travelling from one district to another. If a person violates the government guidelines, he/she/they may have to pay a heavy fine as well as punishment.

LPG distribution will be allowed till 5 pm

LPG delivery services will be available for customers from 6 am to 5 pm. The state government has also provided some partial relief in the revised new guideline released on 25 April. Earlier it was allowed till 12 noon. Private vehicles will now be able to take petrol and diesel from the pump only from 7 am to 12 noon. Fuel will not be given to private vehicles after 12 noon. Public transport and freight vehicles will continue to receive diesel and petrol as before.
