Coronavirus is wreaking havoc in the country as record Covid-19 cases are being reported. Many states including Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan and Delhi have imposed lockdown due to the massive surge in Covid-19 cases.
The Covid-19 situation has now started to pause the wheels of Indian railway trains as well. In many states including Rajasthan, trains are being cancelled due to the Coronavirus outbreak. According to the information received, a total of 40 trains in Rajasthan have been cancelled due to the low turnout in these trains.
According to information received from Lt Shashi Kiran, Deputy General Manager, Chief Public Relations Officer, North Western Railway, there has been a huge reduction in the number of rail passengers in Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana and other neighbouring states including Punjab due to the Corona epidemic. Therefore, the North Western Railway has cancelled 40 trains (from the starting station) till further orders. According to the information received, 26 of the trains connected with the state have been cancelled.
Reduction in frequency (from starting station)
1. Train number: 09329, Indore-Udaipur Special Rail service will operate from 30.04.2021 to 16.05.2021 on a daily basis on Wed, Fri and Sunday.
2. Train number 09330, Udaipur-Indore Special Rail service will operate from 01.05.2021 to 17.05.2021 every day on Thursday, Saturday and Monday.
Cancelled Trains (from starting station)
1. Train No. -02985, Jaipur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Double Decker will be cancelled from 27.04.2021 till further orders.
2. Train number 02986, Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Jaipur Double Decker will remain cancelled from 27.04.2021 till further orders.
3. Train number 04701, Bathinda-Lalgarh Special will be cancelled from 29.04.2021 till further orders.
4.Train number 07402, Lalgarh-Abohar Special will remain cancelled from 27.04.2021 till further orders.
5. Train number 04722, Abohar-Jodhpur Special will remain cancelled from 27.04.2021 till further orders.
6. Train number 04721, Jodhpur - Bathinda Special will remain cancelled from 28.04.2021 till further orders.
7. Train number 04703, Jaisalmer-Lalgarh special will be cancelled from 28.04.2021 till further orders.
8. Train number 04704, Lalgarh-Jaisalmer Special will be cancelled from 27.04.2021 till further orders.
9. Train number 04725, Bhiwani-Mathura Special will remain cancelled from 27.04.2021 till further orders.
10. Train number 04726, Mathura-Bhiwani Special will be cancelled from 27.04.2021 till further orders.
11. Train number 04733, Rewari-Shri Ganganagar Special will be cancelled from 27.04.2021 till further orders.
