Jaipur: Full lockdown in Rajasthan on cards, group of 5 ministers to submit report today

A group of 5 ministers has been formed to take strict steps to break the chain of transition. This group of ministers will consider all possible steps and give their suggestions on Thursday. A final decision will be taken based on that.

Covid-19 continues to wreak havoc in Rajasthan, Gehlot government is in the mode of action to stop the second wave of the Covid-19 epidemic in Rajasthan.

Rajasthan government is preparing to take strict steps in the state. In this regard, a five-member cabinet group will submit its report to the Chief Minister by 6:00 pm.

Throughout the day, the ministers of the group will discuss with the officers and experts of their department. They will make a report about the loss and preparedness due to lockdown or further restrictions. The report will be submitted to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot at 6:00 pm.

In the meeting of the State Council of Ministers held at the CM residence on Wednesday under his leadership, a group of 5 ministers has been formed to take strict steps to break the chain of transition. This group of ministers will consider all possible steps and give their suggestions on Thursday. A final decision will be taken based on that.

Urban Development Minister Shanti Dhariwal, Water Minister Dr BD Kalla, Health Minister Dr Raghu Sharma, Minister of State for Education Govind Singh Dotasara and Minister of State for Health, Dr Subhash Garg have been included in this Group of Ministers. There was a general opinion in the meeting that marriage events should be postponed for some time to curb this worrisome situation, except for essential services, all modes of transport should be banned.

At the same time, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has told all the ministers that if a decision is to be taken to impose lockdown, then preparations should be made for the livelihood of labourers and economically deprived classes. He also announced that in no case a situation of labour migration should arise like last year.
