Honey trap cases are on a rise in the entire Rajasthan, now another honey trap case has come to light from the capital city Jaipur. Police have arrested former Mrs Rajasthan Priyanka Chaudhary, the main accused in this case of honeytrap for involving a businessman in the love trap and then blackmailing him in the name of rape.

Police have started an investigation against Priyanka, the 2019 winner of the Mrs India Rajasthan contest. Priyanka Chaudhary is accused of extorting jewellery worth Rs 30 lakh by making an obscene CD with the businessman and was now asking for one crore rupees in cash and a plot of land worth crores.

Jai Singh, head constable of Shyam Nagar police station said that the accused woman Priyanka Chaudhary met him about five years ago and rented his house. After this, the woman made family relations with businessman Ghasilal Chaudhary and recovered lakhs of rupees by threatening to implicate him in the rape case. Fearing respect, the merchant gave money to the woman as per the demand. Four days ago, the businessman filed a case with the police that Priyanka Chaudhary was asking for a vacant plot of 400 square yards from him.

Due to family ties, the businessman also kept in touch with him. The woman slowly started asking for money by telling her the need. She kept on forcibly taking jewellery and cash by threatening to implicate the businessman in a rape case for a year.

Priyanka`s husband, who has been blackmailing the businessman along with her for a year, is a head constable in the Tonk police.
