Monsoon to hit Rajasthan today, Heavy rains to cover entire state by July 12-13

According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon has started gaining momentum due to the winds blowing from the Bay of Bengal. The eastern and western parts of Rajasthan will receive heavy monsoon rains in the next few hours.

There is a relief for the people of Rajasthan who are waiting for rains amid the heat wave in the state as the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains across the state from today.

People of Rajasthan, who are battling the humidity and the scorching heat will get a with the onset of monsoon from today. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon has started gaining momentum due to the winds blowing from the Bay of Bengal. The eastern and western parts of Rajasthan have become cloudy and there will receive heavy monsoon rains in the next few hours. This process can continue for three to four days, on the other hand, the monsoon will enter the capital Jaipur on Saturday and there is a forecast of heavy rain here too.

Heavy rain may occur in Pratapgarh, Banswara, Chittorgarh, Dholpur, Jhalawar, Baran, Kota on July 10 and 11. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be a drop in the temperature for the next one week and there will be heavy rains in many areas of the state. Monsoon will enter the capital Jaipur on Saturday and at the same time, monsoon will enter Bharatpur, Ajmer, Jaipur and Jodhpur districts by July 13.

Today, in some places in Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Bikaner and Churu districts of the Bikaner division, a period of thunderstorms will start. Monsoon is also likely to arrive here between July 11 and 13.

Director of Meteorological Department Radheshyam Sharma said that during July 12 to 13, there is a possibility of rain at most places.
