Unabated cold wave in Rajasthan., Karauli coldest at 0.3 degrees Celsius

Jaipur, Jan 28 (PTI) Cold weather continues in many parts of Rajasthan, where Karauli recorded a lowest minimum temperature of 0.3 degrees Celsius on Thursday night.  According to the Meteorological Department, the night temperature remained below five degrees in many parts of the state. The minimum temperature in the last 24 hours was 0.4 degrees in Chittorgarh, 1.4 degrees in Fatehpur, 1.8 degrees in Bhilwara and Sikar, 2.3 degrees in Sangaria, 3.1 degrees in Churu and Anta, 3.4 degrees in Alwar, 3.6 degrees in Dabok and 4.1 degrees Celsius in Nagaur.  While the minimum temperature in the capital city Jaipur last night was 7.2 degrees Celsius. According to a MeT official, effect of cold wave will continue for the next 24 hours at many places in Jhunjhunu, Churu and Bhilwara districts of the state. PTI AG RCJ RCJ
