7 more test positive for swine flu in city

In another private hospital in Mansarovar, one 52-year-old female was tested positive for the disease on Saturday.A 14-year-old boy tested positive for swine flu, who belonged to Rajawas in Amber. Jaipur: Scare of swine flu is taking city into its grip. However, the officials are surprised with spurt in numbers of swine flu cases in the city at a time when the temperature has gone well above 42 degrees. Besides, in the same hospital, a 25-year-old female has also been admitted diagnosed with swine flu. It has victimised seven more persons in the city on Saturday as total number of persons tested positive for the disease in the city has reached to 59 this year so far.However, only one person has died due to swine flu in the city so far this year.Chief medical health officer Jaipur (I) Dr Narottam Sharma said that seven persons tested positive for swine flu on Saturday undergoing treatment in different hospitals of the city.A 45-year-old person from Phulera is undergoing treatment in a private hospital.

She belongs to Malpura Gate in Sanganer.A 52-year-old resident of Muhana Mandi road was brought to a private hospital in Mansarovar, where the doctors admitted him for his treatment. In another private hospital in Mansarovar, one 52-year-old female was tested positive for the disease on Saturday.A 14-year-old boy tested positive for swine flu, who belonged to Rajawas in Amber. The doctors admitted him to the hospital.Two more persons— one 23-year-old male, resident of Sanjay Bazaar and 8-year-old male, resident of Vidhyadhar Nagar tested positive for swine flu in private hospitals.Officials said they are continuously monitoring the situation and taking measures to prevent the spread of the disease in the city. However, the officials are surprised with spurt in numbers of swine flu cases in the city at a time when the temperature has gone well above 42 degrees.
