Deputy registrar of RU arrested in paper leak case

Jaipur: The Special Operations Group (SOG) of Rajasthan police on Saturday arrested deputy registrar of Rajasthan University (RU) for his alleged link in RU question paper leak scam, the accused was also member of the RU's examination secrecy cell.Inspector General Dinesh MN told TOI that deputy registrar MC Gupta had asked RU examination secrecy cell's clerk Nand Lal Saini to provide details about teachers who were designated for setting up the M.Com (final) question paper of the university, thereby breaching the secrecy of examination. The cops have arrested total 18 people in the question paper leak scam, including Nand Lal Saini and senior professors and lecturers from Bikaner, Jaipur, Hanumangarh and Bandikui.The sleuths on Friday had arrested associate professor and RU's chief warden Rajiv Sharma and secrecy cell's clerk Surender Sharma in the similar case. The police are probing about how much information Gupta receive and how much of it was leaked.
