Revise compensation for martyrs' families in Rajasthan: Ashok Gehlot

JAIPUR: Former chief minister Ashok Gehlot on Saturday demanded that compensation packages given to martyrs' families in the state be revised by chief minister Vasundhara Raje Gehlot in a statement said that the Uttar Pradesh government has announced a financial assistance of Rs 30 lakh for Kupwara attack martyr Captain Ayush Yadav and the Rajasthan government should also consider a fresh package of the soldiers lay their lives in the line of duty.He said that the former Congress regime in the state government had announced a package for Kargil martyrs in 1999 which was appreciated across the country.
