But in a letter to the minister of forest and environment, Gajendra Khimsar, the Sariska Tiger Foundation has requested not to translocate a male tiger and instead shift two female tigers to Sariska. Jaipur: Compliance with National Tiger Conservation Authority's (NTCA) order to translocate a male tiger from Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve (RTR) to Sariska Tiger Reserve has not been fulfilled so far. "If in such hostile situation another male is sent to Sariska this might just lead to the dominant males pushing him to the periphery. "Presently the main potential area of the reserve which confines to the boundaries of the proposed Sariska Tiger Reserve is dominated by males coded as ST4 and ST6. This would further lead to problems of man-animal conflict as had been happening earlier with the periphery villages due to the leopard," wrote Dinesh Durani, founder secretary, Sariska Tiger Foundation.

They are intolerant to the presence of any other male in the area," Sariska Tiger Foundation representatives said.Incidentally, ST13 which is the second litter of ST2 which is also an offspring of these dominant males was forced to leave this area. The tiger was roaming outside the reserve in Rajgarh area for last eight months and was with great difficulty tranquilized by the forest department on Tuesday. The tiger is in captivity, has been radio-collared and would be released soon in the forest."If in such hostile situation another male is sent to Sariska this might just lead to the dominant males pushing him to the periphery.
