4 toll plaza staff sent to judicial custody

Kota: Four employees of Kishorepura toll plaza on NH-52 near Panch ki Baori under Hindoli police station were on Tuesday sent to judicial custody for allegedly causing disruption in government functioning.One of the vehicles of state governor Kalyan Singh's security convoy on Monday evening, while going to Kota, was stopped and not allowed to pass without paying toll charges. The toll employees reportedly misbehaved with the security guards even after they showed the ID cards of governor's house.Governor Kalyan Singh was not in the vehicle as he was to fly to Kota on Tuesday. "The convoy was not allowed to pass even when we showed ID cards. The toll employees even ignored the governor's house sticker on the vehicle and misbehaved with the security personnel in the vehicle," said the security incharge of the convoy in a report to Hindoli police.First three vehicles of the convoy, however, passed without interruption. "Manager of the toll plaza Ajeet Singh, supervisor Rohit Sharma, booth operator Narendra Singh and security officer Giraj Vaishnav were booked under relevant sections of IPC for allegedly causing disruption in government functioning in this connection," said Manoj Soni, circle incharge (CI) at Hindoli police station.
